National Energy Novel Materials Center
National Energy Novel Materials Center is the only state-level institute center of energy novel materials authorized by the National Energy Administration, and established by the China Academy of Engineering Physics. The center is committed to the breakthroughs of core technologies of new energy materials, research and test of key technologies, development and inspection of major equipment prototypes and key components. Furthermore, the center took part in the formulation of energy strategic guidance and planning of the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015) period and the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020). The center established the Shenzhen National Energy Novel Materials Center co., ltd in Shenzhen in accordance with the approval and instruction from the National Energy Administration and Shenzhen Municipal Government with purpose to expedite the development of key technologies of energy novel materials, and promote the industrialization of scientific achievements. At present, the main industrial projects include: lithium titanate battery technology, graphene battery key preparation technology, hydrogen storage power cell technology and flexible solar cell technology.
